About Ribery , Bayern Break the FIFA Law




Soccer Professional Organizations (FIFPro) urges Bayern Muenchen to allow Franck Ribéry move to Real Madrid. According to the FIFProthe way to protect Ribery leads Bayern to break the law of FIFA .

In the rule written that the transfer of players that are already live in a club for three seasons in have the right to move even though the still tied at the contract end of season three. The club will get compensation according to the value of the remaining contract period.


In the case of Ribery, this French players have been playing for "Die Roten" since 2007 and has a contract until 2011. Refers to the law Article 17, he could unilaterally cut off contract at the end of the third season, end of this season. Bayern will get a compensation of salary during a year Ribery.

However, Bayern Muenchen President who is also Chairman of the European Club Association (ECA), Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, said that since 2008, as many as 153 European clubs have agreed that in some cases, they can overrule the article.

"The agreement with the ECA tends to bear cartel and can not be accepted.From the experience of European Union Commissioner, (Neelie) Kroes, referring to the cartel agreement before, I also expect the strong intervention in this case," he added.

FIFPro expect, Ribery can freely determine the future and select club of interest. At least at the end of the third year in Bayern.
