Ferguson got replacement for Van Den Sar

The coach of Manchester United (MU) Alex Ferguson is got a replacement of goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar. It was the secondary MU goalkeeper, Ben Foster.

Foster was recognized as one of the best English goalkeeper. Unfortunately, injury makes him often absent from the match.


When Van der Sar say he will retire on end of the new season , MU was confused to searching for a replacement. Victor Valdes and Iker Casillas was in the list of incoming players who targeted by Ferguson.

However, the plan failed to do. Because Ferguson see Foster continue to show progress in his recovery and physical performance. He was also optimistic of the promising future of Foster and soon Foster signed contract with Ferguson for four seasons.

"We are happy that Ben has signed a four-year contract. Ben is recognized as one of the best goalkeeper in the UK and we really view it as perfect substitute for Edwin van der Sar," Ferguson said.
